MOSCOW – On November 5, at approximately 5:10 p.m., Idaho State Police are investigating a collision involving two vehicles that occurred Northbound on US Highway 95 near mile post 356 in Latah County, Idaho.
A 16-year-old male was driving a Honda Minivan occupied by several family members when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center divider line, and collided head-on with a Hyundai SUV.
A 22-year-old male drove the Hyundai SUV and a female passenger also occupied the vehicle. All occupants in the Minivan were wearing seatbelts and 3 of the occupants were transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance.
The driver and passenger of the Hyundai SUV were also transported to a local hospital for injuries.
The highway was blocked periodically for investigation and medical purposes. The driver of the Minivan was cited for speeding too fast for the conditions.
