Midnight Fire 100% Contained, Fire Crew Preparing to Demobilize

OLA, IDAHO – Idaho Department of Lands wildland firefighters held the Midnight fire at 49.3 acres, achieving 100% containment last night. The fire occurred approximately six miles north of Ola and roughly five miles east of 3rd Fork Road.

A combined 24 IDL and contracted firefighters remain on scene this morning. They will continue mopping up throughout the day and demobilize this evening.

IDL appreciates the strong support provided by Gem County Fire Protection District #2 out of Sweet, Idaho, and the capable contract crew members provided by PatRick Corporation.

This is the final update for the Midnight Fire.
