On November 7 around 7:40 p.m., the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a one-vehicle crash at Woodland and Moon House Roads.

Deputies responded and located a white 1995 Chevrolet pickup. The male subject was checked out by the Kamiah Ambulance, and it was determined the driver, Gerald Matthew Burns, age 55, of Kamiah, Idaho had succumbed to his injuries.

Mr. Burns’ family has been notified and our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

The accident is still under investigation by the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office and no further details are available at this time.
