LEWISTON, Idaho – The winners of the annual High School Awards, presented by the Warrior Athletic Association, will be announced at the LC State Basketball games on Dec. 20. Finalists will be recognized throughout the week of Dec. 11-15 on KLEW. The 17th annual event recognizes outstanding high school student-athletes, their coaches and teams, as well as community members who are recognized for meritorious service to their local high schools.
The WAA High School Awards are made possible by major sponsors P1FCU and Pepsi as well as award and event sponsors CCI/Speer, Inland Cellular, the Clearwater River Casino and Lodge, the Lewiston Tribune and KLEW.
Female Athlete of the Year and Coach of the Year Awards will be presented at halftime of the women’s game that starts at 5 p.m., and Male Athlete of the Year, Team of the Year, and the Rick Hill Meritorious Awards will be presented at halftime of the men’s game that starts at 7 p.m.
