Clarkston, WA – On November 8, 2023, Clarkston DECA, Clarkston Gear Up, and P1FCU will be hosting a college fair for Clarkston High School students from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the Clarkston High School cafeteria that will consist of many significant post-secondary opportunities. Area colleges such as Walla Walla Community College, Community Colleges of Spokane, Washington State University, Eastern Oregon University, Lewis Clark State College, University of Idaho, Eastern Washington University, Idaho State University, Central Washington University, and four military branches, will have representatives available to provide information and answer any questions about the school, courses offered, and future opportunities. Accompanying them will be three breakout sessions on financial aid and financial planning, FAFSA, and budgeting to help students manage their money and plan their future.
Clarkston DECA will host the Make “Cents” of Your Future Booth, manned by Keegan Heath, Haven Morfin, and Jacob Rinard–3rd year DECA members. Students who visit the DECA Booth will have the opportunity to participate in trivia on financial literacy and win prizes. Gear-Up will also provide pizza and refreshments.
