| CORVALLIS, Ore. – Bryden Brown opened his spring season with a victory at the Puget Sound Invitational en route to being voted the Cascade Conference Rize Laboratory Men’s Golfer of the Week.
The Moscow native earned his first collegiate win over the weekend at the tournament in Lakewood, Wash. He shot a second-round total of 71 before winning in a playoff to secure the individual title. His rounds of 74 and 71 put him at the top of the leaderboard to cap the week after tying for 12th at the competitive RMC Intercollegiate in Henderson, Nev., early in the week. Brown totaled rounds of 79, 72 and 72 at Reflection Bay.
This is Brown’s second weekly honor of the season and in his career.
