(Colfax, WA) On January 14, Deputies stopped a vehicle on SR 195 at the south end of Colfax for expired registration.
The driver, Jacob Bremer, from Clarkston, Washington was contacted and it was determined Bremer had a warrant for his arrest out of Asotin County. Bremer was arrested and transported to the Whitman County Jail.
The passenger, Desmond Beck, from Clarkston, Washington had warrants out of Whitman County and Asotin County. Beck was arrested and transported to the Whitman County Jail.
Deputies contacted the Clarkston Police Department and requested they make contact with the registered owner of the vehicle.
The Clarkston Police Department located the registered owner of the vehicle and it was determined the vehicle had been stolen and the registered owner was unaware.
Bremer was also booked on Possession Of Stolen Vehicle.
