(Moscow, ID) In the early morning hours of Thursday January 23rd, 2025, Latah County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Moscow Police Department Officers successfully apprehended three juvenile suspects after a high-speed chase.

At about 2:45 in the morning on January 23rd, 2025, Latah County Sheriff’s Office was provided information by Coeur d’Alene Tribal Police that a vehicle involved in a pursuit in Spokane, Washington was seen heading into Latah County. Deputies saw the vehicle on US Highway 95 near Potlatch, Idaho, driving south at almost 100 miles per hour. Deputies began pursuing the suspect vehicle, which failed to stop for law enforcement.

The suspect vehicle took Deputies on a high-speed pursuit into Moscow, Idaho. Officers from Moscow Police Department joined Latah County Deputies in a joint effort to stop the vehicle. The suspect vehicle was found by police, stopped and unoccupied, on the side of the roadway, near the southern city limits of Moscow.
The Moscow Police Department used a drone to track where the suspects may have gone. Police located several suspects hiding in a nearby shed with the help of Moscow’s drone. Just before 4:00 in the morning, police took two juvenile suspects into custody. A third juvenile suspect was located a short time later and was also taken into custody. The driver of the vehicle is being charged with Felony Eluding, Resisting and Obstructing Officers and Unlawful Entry.
