MERIDIAN, ID – The Idaho State Police (ISP) has announced the application process for the Sexual Assault Services Formula Program (SASP) funding cycle for calendar year 2025. This year, the process will be conducted by invitation only, with eligible organizations required to submit a Letter of Intent by March 7, 2025.
The SASP program provides federal funding for direct intervention and related assistance for sexual assault victims. Funds are distributed to states and territories to support rape crisis centers, nonprofit organizations, and tribal programs offering these services. In Idaho, SASP funding supports advocacy, intervention, accompaniment, and other related services for victims of all ages, along with their families and households.
Eligible organizations may apply for up to $40,000 for a 12-month period, with funding potentially continuing for two additional years. The first funding cycle will begin on April 1, 2025. This program does not require matching funds or cost-sharing from applicants.
Interested organizations can access the Letter of Intent and SASP Frequently Asked Questions on the ISP Pass-Through Grants & Research page. For more information, contact Julie Brotzman at 208-884-7041 or pgr@isp.idaho.gov.
