U.S. Marshals Arrest Violent Montana Fugitive in Spokane County

SPOKANE, WA – The United States Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force, with assistance from Spokane County Sheriff’s Office deputies, arrested a Montana fugitive on February 20 in Rockford, Washington. The arrest was made without incident.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service in Montana coordinated with the task force to locate and apprehend Jacob Lee Gunn. Gunn was wanted on an arrest warrant issued by Montana’s Fourth Judicial District in Missoula County for violating the conditions of his pre-trial supervision. The warrant included multiple felony counts of sexual abuse of children related to the possession of material.

Gunn was booked into the Spokane County Jail, where he is being held pending extradition to Montana.
