Avista to Hold Public Meeting on 2025 Natural Gas Integrated Resource Plan

SPOKANE, WA – Avista will host a virtual public meeting on Wednesday, March 5, at noon to present and gather feedback on its 2025 Natural Gas Integrated Resource Plan (IRP).

The IRP is a long-term planning document that evaluates projected natural gas demand over the next 20 years and identifies potential resource options to ensure reliability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental sustainability. Public input is an important part of the planning process, as feedback helps shape the final plan before it is submitted to utility commissions in the states Avista serves.

The meeting will include a presentation outlining key details of the IRP, followed by an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and provide comments.

A recording of the meeting and additional information about the 2025 Natural Gas IRP will be available at myavista.com/IRP.

Avista provides electricity to 418,000 customers and natural gas to 382,000 customers across eastern Washington, northern Idaho, and parts of southern and eastern Oregon. More information about the company and its services can be found at www.myavista.com.
