“LC State is honored to once again have received the maximum accreditation award conferred by the JRCERT,” said LC State’s Associate Dean for the School of Professional Studies Krista Harwick. “This recognition reflects the ongoing commitment to excellence in education and the dedication of program faculty to preparing students for success in their professional careers.”

According to the notification letter from JRCERT, interim reports and site visits will tentatively take place in the third quarters of 2028 and 2032 dependent on continued good standing with the JRCERT.

JRCERT is the only agency recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation for the accreditation of traditional and distance delivery educational programs in radiography, radiation therapy, magnetic resonance, and medical dosimetry.

LC State offers both an in-person Associate of Science and an online Bachelor of Science in Radiographic Science, as well as an online Bachelor of Science in Computed Tomography. You can learn more about the college’s Radiographic Science program by visiting: www.lcsc.edu/nursing/radiography
