Lewiston School District Considering two Candidates for Superintendent

LEWISTON, ID – The Lewiston School District Board of Directors has announced two candidates for the Superintendent position. After reviewing staff input and letters of interest, the Board has scheduled a meeting on March 3, 2025, to conduct interviews in an executive session.

The candidates are:

Lisa Fenter:  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies and Japanese from the University of Oregon and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho. She joined the district in June 2011 as a Curriculum Resource Teacher in Language Arts. In July 2012, she was appointed Director of Curriculum, a role she has held since.

Lisa holds an Idaho Education Credential with endorsements in School Principal (Pre-K12), World Language – Japanese (K-12), English (5-9), and Social Studies – Middle Level (5-9).

Tim Sperber:  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Idaho and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Washington State University. He joined the district in July 2006 as the Coordinator of Tammany High School. The following year, he transitioned to Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Lewiston High School. In July 2012, he was appointed Elementary Principal at Whitman, and in July 2021, he assumed the role of Secondary Principal at Sacajawea Middle School.

Tim holds an Idaho Education Credential with endorsements in School Principal (Pre-K12), English (6-12), Social Studies (6-12), and History (6-12).
