Stinker Stores’ Stomp Out Hunger Campaign Raises $57,500 for Idahoans in Need

Meridian, ID – Stinker Stores and The Idaho Foodbank recently concluded the Stomp Out Hunger Campaign, raising $57,500 to support food-insecure Idahoans. The donation, presented during the Mixed Martial Arts Front Street Fights event at Idaho Central Arena in Boise, will help provide over 172,000 meals through The Idaho Foodbank.

Since launching the campaign in 2010, Stinker Stores has encouraged customers to contribute by adding donations to their purchases at checkout. This year, the top fundraising location was Store #32 in Boise, which raised more than $1,700.

“Stinker strives to be a bright spot in our communities,” said District Manager Steve Cook. “Charley and Nancy Jones have always led the way, recognizing the incredible employees and customers who make this possible.”

The Idaho Foodbank’s President and CEO, Randy Ford, expressed gratitude for the partnership. “This community engagement is key to our work in helping Idahoans facing food insecurity,” he said.

Those in need of food assistance can find resources through The Idaho Foodbank’s Food Assistance Locator at idahofoodbank.org/getfood.
