LEWISTON, ID – The annual Wake Up with the Warriors breakfast, hosted by the Warrior Athletic Association, will take place on April 1 at 7 a.m. at the P1FCU Activity Center on campus. The event will coincide with the start of Warrior Giving Day, which runs from April 1-2. This 1,893-minute campaign celebrates LC State’s founding in 1893 and provides an exciting opportunity to support Warrior Athletics.

The breakfast is free and open to the public, though donations to support various athletic programs are strongly encouraged.

During the event, attendees will have the chance to sit with LC State student-athletes and hear firsthand accounts of their journeys to success at the college. These inspiring stories highlight the dedication, perseverance and teamwork that define the Warrior Way.

Additionally, the WAA will present the Lifetime Warrior Award to Clay Robinson in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the college and the community. Robinson joins a distinguished list of past honorees, including Willard Teel, Jim and Susan Mahan, Kay Williams, Colleen Mahoney, Mike Ripley, Paul Thompson, Don and Joanne Poe, Phil and Marilyn Stonebraker, Jim and LaVonneHeitmann, Liz and Jerry Chavez, Paul and Deanna Stewart and Dick and Barbara Riggs.

An RSVP is required to attend. To reserve your spot please register online at lcwarriors.com/tickets. If you’re unable to attend but still want to contribute to Warrior Giving Day, visit www.lcsc.edu/warriorgivingday.

The mission of the WAA is to foster community engagement while building and sustaining meaningful relationships between LC State student-athletes and the local community. The WAA also plays a vital role in raising nonprofit funds for the continued growth and success of all Warrior athletic programs.
