Former Olympian Added to FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives List

LOS ANGELES, CA  – Former Olympic snowboarder Ryan Wedding has been added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. Authorities allege he led a transnational drug trafficking organization and ordered multiple murders.

The FBI made the announcement during a press conference in Westwood, California, where law enforcement officials detailed Wedding’s alleged activities. The 43-year-old Canadian national is accused of orchestrating the transport of hundreds of kilograms of cocaine from Colombia through Mexico and Southern California into Canada and other locations in the United States. Authorities claim he also ordered multiple murders in connection with the drug operation.

The U.S. Department of State has announced a reward of up to $10 million for information leading to Wedding’s arrest or conviction. This is in addition to the FBI’s $50,000 reward.

Wedding competed in the Giant Slalom snowboarding event at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. He is also known by aliases including “El Jefe,” “Giant,” “Public Enemy,” “James Conrad King,” and “Jesse King.”

Authorities state that Wedding and his second-in-command, Andrew Clark, were charged in 2024 with running a continuing criminal enterprise, murder, attempted murder, and drug trafficking. Clark was arrested in Mexico last year and has since been extradited to the United States.

Investigators believe Wedding may be in Mexico but have not ruled out his presence in Canada, the United States, Colombia, or other locations.

The FBI urges anyone with information to contact them via WhatsApp, Signal, or Telegram at +1-424-495-0614, or submit a tip at tips.fbi.gov.
