LEWISTON, ID – Another local talent has signed with LC State Track & Field. Coach Mike Collins announced the addition of Clarkston’s Claire Dooley who will join the Warriors in the fall.
Dooley is a sprinter at Clarkston High School where she competes in the 100m and 200m dashes. The current Bantam senior has career-best times of 13:16 in the 100m and 27.81 in the 200m. She was also a member of the 4x200m relay team that qualified for regionals in 2023.
“Really looking forward to having Claire in our program,” Collins said. “I love having our local and regional athletes with us and we have shown that we can have some great success with them. I believe Claire is going to be another one of those locals that is going to shine as she progresses through our program. She comes from a great family and is a great student and I have no doubt she will make workouts and training better for everyone.”
Dooley was named a team captain the last two seasons and has held at least a 3.70 GPA all four years. She also competed in cross country and basketball at CHS.
