U.S. Marshals Offer Reward for Fugitive Wanted in Spokane Area

SPOKANE, WA – The U.S. Marshals Service is seeking public assistance in locating Frederic Hamberg, who is wanted on multiple felony charges, including second-degree assault and unlawful possession of a firearm. Authorities have announced a reward of up to $750 for information leading to his arrest.

Hamberg is accused of involvement in a drive-by shooting in Mead, Washington, and also faces charges related to domestic violence, including second-degree assault by strangulation or suffocation. Law enforcement considers him to be armed and dangerous.

The search for Hamberg is being conducted by the Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force (PNVOTF), which includes federal, state, and local law enforcement officers from Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. The task force focuses on locating and apprehending individuals wanted for violent crimes.
