PULLMAN, WA – The Washington State University president’s office is moving out of downtown Pullman and returning to campus.
WSU announced Wednesday that the Office of the President will move back to campus after nearly three years downtown. The decision is part of a larger reorganization to ensure greater accessibility and visibility for administrators across the WSU system.
The president’s office will return to its former location in the French Administration building. That space was transformed into the WSU Pullman Chancellor’s Office when the president moved downtown in the summer of 2022. The Pullman chancellor’s office will move to Van Doren Hall. New WSU President Dr. Elizabeth Cantwell will move into the campus office when she takes over the university next month.
Retiring President Kirk Schulz moved his office downtown when he created the Pullman chancellor’s post. The shuffling came when Schulz restructured the administration to become the WSU Systemwide President.
The president’s office has been in the Town Centre Building downtown below the WSU Foundation office.
