LEWISTON, ID – Every year, nearly 350 local students embark on a thrilling jet boat adventure through Idaho’s stunning Snake River canyon, diving into the history of our beautiful state as they focus on Idaho history during their 4th grade year.
According to the Lewiston Independent Foundation For Education, it costs about $3100 per classroom to make the incredible adventure possible. The foundation says the generosity of Snake River Adventures and supporters make the trip possible.
On this unforgettable trip, the kids will:
- Explore Idaho’s rich history, landforms, and wildlife
- Investigate geological features and learn about bat habitats
- Discover early hunting techniques with hands-on demonstrations
- And after a full day of learning, they’ll get to splash through the rapids on the way home.
