RICHAND, WA. – A Pasco tow truck operator has been charged with a firearm offense, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington.
59-year-old Socorro Jesus Lopez-Spindola has been charged by criminal complaint with one count of Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He was arraigned on March 13, 2025, in U.S. District Court in Richland.

Police obtained a search warrant for Classic Towing and Recovery, a business owned and operated by Lopez-Spindola. During the search, investigators allegedly found a loaded .22 caliber revolver in a desk drawer in his office.
Lopez-Spindola has prior convictions, including one for Unlawful Reentry after Deportation.
The case is part of Operation Take Back America, a Department of Justice initiative targeting illegal immigration, cartels, and transnational criminal organizations. The case is being investigated by the FBI and the Pasco Police Department and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Brandon L. Pang.
