CLARKSTON – A 32-year-old woman was arrested on March 14th following a domestic dispute at a residence on Fair Street, according to a report from the Clarkston Police Department.
Officers responded to the location at approximately 2:59 p.m. after dispatch received reports of yelling and a physical altercation. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a woman who reported that her daughter, Donah S. Porter had tipped her out of a chair, spit on her, and thrown her tablet.
According to the arresting officer, Porter was inside the residence yelling when officers attempted to speak with her. After gathering statements, officers placed Porter under arrest for fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.
During transport to the Asotin County Jail, Porter continued yelling and later kicked a jail deputy while being removed from the patrol vehicle, according to the report. Porter was subsequently booked on an additional charge of third-degree assault.
Body-worn camera footage from the incident was uploaded as evidence. The case remains under review by the court.
