Corey Williams Named Principal of Sacajawea Middle School

LEWISTON, ID – Sacajawea Middle School has announced the appointment of Corey Williams as its new principal. Williams will assume the role on July 1, 2025, for the 2025-2026 school year.

Williams has served as assistant principal at Sacajawea for the past two years. Before that, he spent 14 years at Lewiston High School, where he worked as an assistant principal and athletic director for a decade. He holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Eastern Washington University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Idaho.

Current Principal Tim Sperber, who will transition to the role of district superintendent, expressed confidence in Williams’ leadership. “Corey Williams has proven his commitment to our school community, and we are confident that his leadership will continue to benefit Sacajawea Middle School,” Sperber said.

Williams stated he looks forward to continuing his work with the school. “I am honored to take on this new role and look forward to working with our dedicated staff and students,” he said.
