SPOKANE, WA – LC State Men’s Tennis stretched its win streak to four straight matches on Sunday with a 6-1 victory over NCAA Division III Whitworth. The Warriors swept doubles play before taking all but one singles match.
Cesar Coloma and Pablo Herrera completed their No. 1 doubles match in less than 30 minutes. The pair rolled to a 6-1 win. Austin Swing and Nell Rollin were not far behind with their 30-minute 6-3 victory in the third slot. Juan Pablo Naranjo and Giacomo Moreira edged their No. 2 doubles opponent 7-5.
Moreira won the highest singles match on the day for LC State with a 6-2, 6-3 victory in No. 2 singles. Naranjo dropped just three games in his 6-1, 6-2 win in the sixth spot.
Swing and Gautam Balakrishnan each dropped six games in their wins. Swing won the No. 4 matchup 6-3, 6-3, while Balakrishnan won No. 5 singles 6-2, 6-4.
Rollin battled in his straight-set victory. He won No. 3 singles 6-3, 6-4.

LC State is in New Orleans this week for the Xavier/Dillard Invitational in New Orleans. The Warriors will play four matches against NAIA competition before heading to Mobile (Ala.) for the final contest of the trip.
