CLARKSTON, WA – Firefighters from Asotin County Fire District #1 and the Clarkston Fire Department were called just after 3:00 a.m. Wednesday to the 1300 block of Maple Street in Clarkston to a report of a structure fire.
According to Asotin County Fire District #1, the first arriving firefighters reported a shop behind a house a fully engulfed in flames.
The fire was initially threatening other buildings, vehicles and an RV nearby the shop.
Firefighters were able to quickly control the fire and keep it away from the other buildings.

The owner of the small shop said there was lumber and craft items in the shop. The building was completely destroyed along with a nearby project vehicle.
Officials say 18 firefighters, two engines and a water tanker were all on scene fighting the fire.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire has not been determined.
