LC State Baseball Jumps Four Spots to No. 20 in NAIA Rankings

KANSAS CITY, MO – Warrior Baseball moved up four spots in the latest NAIA Baseball Coaches’ Top 25 to No. 20. LC State holds sole possession of first place in the Cascade Conference heading into another weekend of CCC play.

The Warriors have won eight straight games with sweeps of Eastern Oregon and Corban (Ore.) at home and are 11-2 in conference play. In the last eight games, LC State has outscored its opponents 85-24 with a pair of shutouts.

Jadon Williamson is eighth in the NAIA and leads the CCC in ERA (1.38). He also leads the Cascade in opponent batting average (.195) and strikeouts (44). Williamson and Evan Canfield are tied for the lead in wins with four each.

Ike George is the top player in the conference in on-base percentage (.516) and Charlie Updegrave leads in doubles (10). He is second in slugging (.733) and RBI (28).
