LEWISTON, ID – Warrior Track and Field will add collegiate experience to its roster next season with the signing of Avery Seal. The sprinter will join LC State out of Treasure Valley CC in the fall.
“Looking forward to having Avery in the program,” coach Mike Collins said. “He is very motivated with some very big goals. He is a hard worker and his enthusiasm is contagious and will undoubtedly help to motivate those around him to strive for bigger things too.”
Seal is a native of Gooding, Idaho, where he competed at Gooding High School. He helped the Senators win the 4x200m and 4x400m relays at the conference meet during his tenure and was part of the 4x200m relay squad that broke the school record set in 1999. Individually he placed second in the 400m and third in the 200m at the conference meet.
Seal competes at Treasure Valley CC in his second season. He has a career-best time of 11.42 in the 100m, 22.69 in the 200m and 50.78 in the 400m.
