GRANGEVILLE, ID – Three individuals were arrested following a traffic stop on Highway 95 north of Grangeville on March 19, according to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 1:45 p.m., an Idaho County deputy conducted a stop on a red Toyota Sienna van for a traffic violation. A K9 unit, K9 Mic, and its handler arrived to perform an open-air sniff of the vehicle, which led to a search. Methamphetamine was found during the search.
26-year-old Trenton Kasper was arrested on two felony warrants from Washington for escaping community custody and failure to register as a sex offender. He also faces additional charges, including felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, misdemeanor driving without privileges, misdemeanor providing false information to law enforcement, and misdemeanor use of another person’s driver’s license.
39-year-old Shandi Flowers and 39-year-old Stephany Maes were both arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office noted that all individuals accused of crimes are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
