MOSCOW, ID – A 43-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill his girlfriend and firing a shotgun in the air at a home in Moscow.
Moscow Police responded to a report of gunfire at a home on Lincoln Street Wednesday night. Officers learned that Kenneth Indish reportedly fired a shotgun into the air outside the home and left the area.
Police began searching for Indish, and he returned to the home about an hour later. Officers found him outside the residence, reportedly with a shotgun and several knives. Indish was taken into custody on multiple charges.
Officers determined that Indish was intoxicated and was allegedly threatening to kill his girlfriend inside the residence when he went outside and fired a round. His girlfriend told officers that he stabbed her last fall in Michigan, but apparently didn’t report the attack to police. The couple had recently moved to Moscow from Michigan. There were several people inside the home during the incident.
Indish was arrested for two counts of felony assault, felon in possession of a firearm, and firing a weapon in Moscow city limits. His extensive criminal history includes felony convictions for larceny, robbery, and assault in Michigan.
