MOSES LAKE, WA – Three individuals, including two juveniles, have been arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in the 9800 block of Olympic Drive NE, according to the Moses Lake Police Department.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired on March 29, 2025, and located multiple shell casings in the street, along with bullet damage to several vehicles and an occupied residence. Five individuals were reportedly asleep inside the home at the time, including a 19-year-old and a 1-year-old. Police say one bullet came within three feet of the two while they slept.
A suspect vehicle was quickly identified and located within an hour at a residence in the 200 block of West Knolls Vista Drive. Detectives obtained a search warrant, and the Moses Lake Regional Tactical Response Team executed the warrant, detaining several individuals at the location.
During the search, officers recovered 12 firearms and evidence of cocaine sales. Several of the firearms matched the caliber used in the shooting, and one was confirmed stolen from North Bend, Washington.
Two juvenile males and one adult male were booked into jail on charges of first-degree assault and drive-by shooting. Investigators believe the incident was retaliation for a homicide that occurred on Loop Drive on March 21. The investigation is ongoing.
