LEWISTON, ID – Lewis-Clark State College honored nine faculty and staff members with awards at the Employee Recognition Ceremony on Thursday at the college’s Williams Conference Center.
The event honored employees for their service and awards were announced by LC State administrators. The Office of the Provost organizes the event with sponsorship from the LC State Foundation.
Retirees (listed below) were also recognized along with those earning emeritus status. Faculty emeriti include Heidee McMillin, Social Sciences Division, and Teresa Nash, Technical & Industrial Division. Lori Ruddell, who retired in December, received staff emeritus honors.
The 2024-25 list of award winners is as follows:
- President’s Award for Outstanding Teaching – Chelsea Cronin, Nursing & Health Sciences.
- H.L. Talkington Achievement Award – Scott Wimer, Nursing & Health Sciences.
- LC State Foundation Award – Jennifer Uptmor, Business & Computer Science.
- Annice Edmundson Faculty Excellence Award – Brent Booth, Business & Computer Sciences.
- Fernandez Faculty Excellence Award – Dan Rudolph, Physical, Life, Movement & Sport Sciences.
- Adjunct Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence – Thera Follett, Physical, Life, Movement & Sport Sciences.
- Dr. Cameron D. & Marilyn K. Hinman Employee Excellence Award – Heather Van Mullem, Physical, Life, Movement & Sport Sciences.
- Classified Staff Award – Shaun Griffin, Physical Plant.
- Professional Staff Award – Michelle McClure, Advising Center.
Retiring this year (fulltime years at LC State) – Lori Ruddell (26), Teresa Nash (25), Heidee McMillin (18), Philip Liggins (17), Luther Maddy (12), Connie Hallen (11), Erin Fay (8), and Mark Haynal (8).
