BOISE, ID — The Idaho State Controller’s Office has expanded its Transparent Idaho portal to include additional datasets focused on education, according to a release issued Monday, April 7.
The new datasets cover annual school enrollment, salary information, and transaction-level financial data for publicly funded schools and charter schools across the state. Private, choice, and homeschool data are not included.
The portal now provides access to:
-
Education Enrollment Data – Annual enrollment information for school districts and individual schools.
-
Salary Data – Workforce salary details for education providers.
-
Transaction-Level Data – Financial transaction records showing how public education funds are spent.
Transparent Idaho is a public-facing website that helps citizens access and review state financial information in one location. It provides tools and visualizations to make government data more accessible and easier to understand.
According to State Controller Brandon Woolf, the goal is to help Idahoans better understand how public education dollars are allocated and spent.
The updated Transparent Idaho portal is available at www.transparent.idaho.gov.
