CLARKSTON, WA – Construction barriers were removed and the roundabout at Bridge and Diagonal streets in Clarkston was fully opened to traffic on Thursday.
Construction crews had resumed work on March 24 after a weather-related delay and a state-mandated restriction preventing roadway paving before April 1.
Officials say the $2.3 million roundabout will help improve traffic flow at one of the city’s busiest intersections and will eventually feature a salmon sculpture and a “Welcome to Clarkston” sign.
Motorists are encouraged to stay alert for final work in the area.
