NAMPA, ID – U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders is scheduled to speak at a public event titled “Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here” on Monday, April 14, at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa.
Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. The evening will include a performance by the band Built to Spill at 5:00 p.m., followed by a speaking program beginning at 6:00 p.m.
According to organizers, the event will focus on Sanders’ views on economic inequality and political reform. Admission is free, though attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance.
The Ford Idaho Center is located at 16200 North Idaho Center Boulevard. Event organizers have advised that bags, signs, and firearms will not be permitted. Free parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
