Lewiston Airport Announces new Air Traffic Manager

LEWISTON, ID – The Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport has announced that Troy A. Shackelford has joined the airport as the new Air Traffic Manager.

According to the airport, Shackelford brings extensive experience in air traffic management, having previously served with Serco Inc., a leading provider of professional air navigation services.

During his tenure with Serco, Shackelford worked in Colorado, where Serco operates multiple air traffic control towers including Grand Junction, Gypsum, Loveland and Watkins.

In addition to his civilian expertise, the airport says Shackelford has a distinguished military background, further enhancing his capabilities in managing complex air traffic operations.

“His combined experience in both military and civilian air traffic control makes him a valuable asset to our airport community,” says an airport release.
