15th Annual Jog for the Jugs Fund Run Set for May 3 in Lewiston

Jog for JugsLEWISTON, ID – The community is invited to take part in the 15th Annual Jog for the Jugs Fund Run, scheduled for Saturday, May 3, at Kiwanis Park on Snake River Avenue in Lewiston.

Hosted by the Gina Quesenberry Foundation, the event raises funds for individuals battling breast cancer. Activities will begin at 8:00 a.m. with runner check-in, followed by the start of the long and short course walk/run at 9:00 a.m.

This year’s event includes the return of a costume contest, with a prize awarded for the best jog costume. Local vendors will also be on site offering coffee, baked goods, health resources, and music.

“We’re incredibly proud to be celebrating 15 years of the Jog for the Jugs,” said Layci Peer, Executive Director of the Gina Quesenberry Foundation. “It’s more than just a race—it’s about coming together to make a real difference in our community.”

Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome. Early registration is open at gqfoundation.org, with day-of registration available at an increased cost. Registered participants will receive the official Jog for the Jugs t-shirt, which can be picked up on Friday, May 2, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the GQ storage room on Snake River Avenue or during check-in on race day.

All proceeds benefit the Gina Quesenberry Foundation and support those facing breast cancer.
