CLARKSTON, WA – A Clarkston teen was arrested Thursday evening following a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex on 10th Street. 18-year-old David Lookingglass Wheeler Jr. faces multiple charges, including burglary, assault, stalking, and harassment.
According to the Clarkston Police Department, officers responded around 4:37 p.m. on April 17 to reports of a male assaulting individuals at a residence. Witnesses indicated the suspect appeared intoxicated and had previously been trespassed from the property.
Upon arrival, officers located the suspect walking nearby and detained him based on matching descriptions and his visible intoxication. Witness statements revealed the suspect had entered the home without permission, taken a cell phone, and physically assaulted two occupants.
The suspect allegedly returned to the residence after being forced to leave, pushed one victim from behind while they were seated on the porch, and later struck another victim during a confrontation outside the home. He also reportedly made verbal threats to kill while mimicking the action of firing a gun.
Police recovered cannabis products from the suspect during a search. He was booked into jail and is facing charges of burglary in the first degree, residential burglary, two counts of fourth-degree assault, third-degree theft, stalking, harassment with threats to kill, minor in possession of alcohol, and possession of cannabis by a person under 21. All but two of the charges are being considered under domestic violence statutes.
Wheeler appeared in court last week, and bond was set at $50,000.
Body-worn cameras were used during the incident. The case remains under investigation.
