YAKIMA, WA — Six individuals are in federal custody following a grand jury indictment in connection with a multi-agency drug trafficking and firearms investigation in Eastern Washington, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington.
On April 22, 2025, federal and local law enforcement agencies executed search warrants at multiple locations as part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) operation. Nine firearms were seized during the coordinated searches.
The investigation is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide enforcement initiative led by the Department of Justice aimed at dismantling transnational criminal organizations and addressing drug and violent crime threats.
The following individuals have been charged in connection with the case:

The defendants were arraigned on April 23, 2025, at the U.S. District Court in Yakima. The names of additional individuals indicted in the case will be released upon their arrest.
This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Benjamin D. Seal. The investigation was led by the Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Moses Lake Police Department, with support from the Yakima Police Department, U.S. Marshals Service, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
An indictment is an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
