Authorities Arrest Idaho Man Linked to Human Trafficking Investigation

MOUNTAIN HOME, ID – Gregory W. Jones, of Mountain Home, was arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation that began on January 31, 2025. Jones was taken into custody on April 25, 2025, pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by an Elmore County judge, following an extensive investigation conducted by the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office.
He was booked into the Elmore County Detention on Sexual penetration with a foreign object and Human sex trafficking.
Throughout the course of the investigation, credible information was obtained from multiple victims. Several victims have been identified and interviewed by investigators, providing critical evidence that has significantly advanced the case. The Elmore County Sheriff’s Office commends the courage of the victims who have come forward and assisted in this investigation.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation. Authorities believe there may be additional victims who have not yet been identified. The Elmore County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
