Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation to Open Large Impact Grant Season on May 1

LEWISTON, ID – The Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation announced that it will open its Large Impact Grant season on May 1, 2025. The program is designed to fund one-year projects that promote health, wellness, or disease prevention within the Foundation’s Service Area.

The Large Impact Grants offer funding amounts between $25,000 and $100,000. Priority will be given to applicants demonstrating a long-term vision and projects that address root causes affecting health. Funded initiatives must align with the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.

The Foundation’s Service Area includes Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis, and Nez Perce counties in Idaho; Asotin, Garfield, and Whitman counties in Washington; and Wallowa County in Oregon.

Applications for the 2025 grant cycle will be available on the Foundation’s website, lewisclarkhealth.org, beginning May 1. Completed applications are due by June 30, 2025.

In 2024, the Foundation awarded 14 Large Impact Grants totaling nearly $700,000 to nonprofit agencies in the region.

Established in 2017 as part of the sale of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, the Foundation is administered by Idaho Trust Company. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status, as well as qualifying governmental and public entities.
