Lewiston, Idaho – (Release from Lewis-Clark State College Athletics) The Warrior Athletic Association held its 16th annual High School Awards ceremony on Tuesday night during the LC State Basketball doubleheader after nominees were featured on KLEW the week prior. The event recognized outstanding high school student-athletes, their coaches, teams and community members.
Category winners included Lapwai’s Titus Yearout and Orofino’s Lindi Kessinger, who won Athlete of the Year awards, and Troy’s Travis House, who earned Coach of the Year. The Lapwai boys’ basketball team claimed Team of the Year and Prairie’s Jerry Richardson was awarded the Rick Hill Meritorious Award.
