Christi Meyer of Lewiston High School, retires at end of school year

Lewiston, ID– Christi Meyer, health and physical education teacher and department chair at Lewiston High School, is retiring at the end of this school year. She has taught for the Lewiston School District for 36 years (1987-2023), with her first ten in P.E. at the elementary level.
She says she absolutely loves what she does and that she has had the opportunity to work with great people. She is proud of the program that the team has built, which includes an array of new equipment and heart rate monitors. Ms. Meyer says she will miss everyone, and while she plans on staying active in the profession, she also looks forward to doing whatever she wants, whenever she wants during her retirement!
