LEWISTON – No. 3 College of Idaho showed why it is one of the nation’s top teams on Friday with a 104-63 win over LC State. The Warriors could not contain C of I’s shooting as the Yotes finished the contest with a 67.2% mark from the field. LC State had 38 points off the bench, led by 15 from Quentin Raynor.
“Credit to C of I,” Head Coach Austin Johnson said. “We did not handle their physicality well at all and the game got away from us early. All year our guys have responded well in adversity and I’m excited to see how we respond tomorrow against a good and very well-rested EOU team.”
The loss moves LC State to 15-6 overall and 13-2 in Cascade Conference play.
