AHSAHKA, ID – Dworshak Dam Visitor Center will be temporarily closed to accommodate staff-training requirements, beginning at 2 pm on March 10. The visitor center will reopen at 1 p.m. March 14.Boat ramps at Big Eddy and Bruce’s Eddy will remain open during this period. Dent boat ramp is scheduled for its seasonal opening on March 17 – weather permitting. Dent Campground will open on April 12 and reservations can be made at www.recreation.gov.

As always, safety is our greatest concern – boaters should wear lifejackets and avoid drinking alcohol while boating.  The roads in and around our recreation areas can be icy during inclement weather, so please drive safely and plan ahead.

Dworshak Dam Visitor Center normal operating hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. For more information regarding facilities access and current conditions, call 208-476-1255 during business hours.
