Lewiston Man Arrested for Alleged Child Exploitation Following Investigation

LEWISTON, ID – A Lewiston man has been arrested and charged with alleged sexual exploitation of a child following an investigation into child sexual abuse material distribution.

Authorities executed a search warrant on December 4, 2024, at a residence on 3rd Street in Lewiston as part of an ongoing investigation. During the search, investigators seized multiple electronic devices, including an LG-Q710AL smartphone belonging to 23-year-old Christopher L. Feldman.

A forensic examination of the phone allegedly revealed explicit material involving children. Detectives reported finding multiple images containing child sexual abuse, leading to further investigation.

On March 5, 2025, law enforcement officials interviewed Feldman at a park in Lewiston. During the interview, Feldman allegedly admitted to downloading and redistributing the materials over a messaging application for approximately six months in 2022. He reportedly stated that the material primarily involved children between the ages of 7 and 13 and that he had engaged with the content but had not deleted it from his device.

Feldman, who has partial custody of a two-year-old daughter, was taken into custody.  He was booked into the Nez Perce County Jail and charged with alleged sexual exploitation of a child.

Feldman appeared in Nez Perce County Court on Thursday and bond was set at $100,000.  The case remains under review by prosecutors. Further legal proceedings are expected in the coming weeks.
