STARBUCK, WA. – The esplanade picnic and fishing areas at Little Goose Lock and Dam will be temporarily closed on Friday, March 21 for maintenance on the downstream bascule bridge.
The bascule bridge allows vehicles to drive across the downstream navigation lock, however it must be raised while undergoing routine maintenance. The closed areas will be on the downstream side of the dam, adjacent to the navigation lock, and include ‘the wall’ fishing area, downstream along the picnic areas, the concrete walkway, and end just downstream of the walkway stairs.
