Manhunt Underway for Suspects in Moses Lake Fatal Shooting

MOSES LAKE, WA – The U.S. Marshals Service has initiated a manhunt for two suspects involved in a fatal drive-by shooting in Moses Lake, Washington, which occurred on March 21, 2025. The shooting resulted in the death of a 14-year-old boy and left four others critically injured, including three juveniles and one adult.

Initially, Moses Lake Police Department identified three suspects connected to an abandoned vehicle found at the scene. The investigation was subsequently taken over by the U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force (PNVOTF) on March 22.

On March 24, a juvenile suspect was apprehended in Richland, Washington, after sustaining a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the leg. He now faces charges of First-Degree Murder.

Two suspects remain at large and are wanted for Murder in the First Degree, five counts of Assault in the First Degree, Drive-By Shooting, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Warrants for their arrest were issued on March 25.

The U.S. Marshals Service is collaborating with local and federal agencies, including Moses Lake Police, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Washington State Department of Corrections, U.S. Border Patrol, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

A reward of up to $10,000 ($5,000 per suspect) is being offered for information leading to their capture. Authorities advise the public that the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
