At approximately 12:30 a.m. on April 12, 2025, an Idaho County deputy observed a vehicle traveling in the opposing lane of traffic. He faces felony possession of methamphetamine and several misdemeanor charges, including possession of paraphernalia, driving without privileges, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, and a second or subsequent offense of failing to maintain liability insurance.

Garcia was also cited for infractions including fictitious display of license plates, failure to use a vehicle safety restraint, and driving on the wrong side of the highway.
