MOSCOW — The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission announced the opening event of the 3rd Thursday Artwalk season, to be held from 4 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 20.
3rd Thursday Artwalk in Moscow features visual, culinary, literary, and performing arts at 8 locations this month:
- Pour Company
- Moscow Contemporary
- Moscow Food Co-op
- Thrivent Financial
- Moscow Chamber of Commerce + Visitor Center
- Third Street Gallery
- Latah County Historical Society
- One World Cafe
The event also introduces two new artworks in the City of Moscow Public Art collection. These pieces, each a part of the Storm Drain Mural program, are an outreach effort to raise awareness for the relationship between storm drains and the health of local waterbodies. The artworks were made by local artists, and are available to view at the locations below:

3rd Thursday in October also marks the unveiling of the artwork featured on the 2022-2023 Artwalk Season poster. The artwork, entitled A Street and created by John Larkin, depicts an urban landscape familiar to the residents of Moscow. The painting will be on display at the Third Street Gallery as part of Intersections, a two-person exhibition of works by Larkin and fellow artist David Herbold.

The 2022-2023 Artwalk Season is brought to the Moscow community by Avista Utilities, Gritman Medical Center, Idaho Central Credit Union, Inland 360, Inland Northwest Broadcasting, and J & H Printing.
