A bear and cub were seen at Talmaks Lake yesterday, June 29th

Released by the Nez Perce Tribe on social media:

A bear and cub were seen at Talmaks Lake yesterday, June 29th. Please be sure to take caution if you are in the Talmaks Lake area. Keep an eye on children and make sure to not travel alone if in the area.
.
If you do see a bear, please remember these tips:
Stay calm and remember that most bears do not want to attack you; they usually just want to be left alone.
.
Leave the area or take a detour. If this is impossible, wait until the bear moves away. Always leave the bear an escape route.
.
Be especially cautious if you see a female with cubs; never place yourself between a mother and her cub, and never attempt to approach them.
